In our fast-paced world, the importance of ecology often takes a back seat. However, adopting sustainable practices can make a positive impact on the environment. Ecology, the study of living organisms and their environments, highlights the interconnectedness of all life. Human activities, such as deforestation and pollution, contribute to environmental degradation. Despite global challenges, individual actions matter. Simple changes like reducing plastic use, conserving energy, and supporting sustainable products can lead to a more ecologically friendly lifestyle. Let’s raise awareness and make daily choices that benefit both us and the planet.

First teacher’s meeting
(Sweden)
The first teacher meeting was held to determine the study topics and activities and to establish the «Ecological Integration/Green Action Committee». This meeting was also the first physical meeting between partners. The project teachers (15 teachers) and the project teachers of the host country initiated the project and created a work schedule for the planned project activities. Basically, they discussed the functioning of the project, it`s development, basic administrative and financial management issues, the stages of intelligibility of the results related to the project objectives, and the dissemination strategy.

First LTT with students

(Eggenfelden, Germany)
The first LTT with students was in Eggenfelden. Each country presented a presentation about climate changes in the last 50 years. Also we did workshops: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. In this project we discussed about fabrics which are polluting enviroment.

 

 

 

Transnational project meeting Iceland Modurmal
(Reykjavik, Iceland)
Taechers from Portugal, Sweden, Romania, Turkey and Germany came to Iceland for familiarization with the project, talking about schools and STORM project.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Second LTT with students
(Funchal, Portugal)
The second LTT with students went in Funchal. As in other projects we showed our presentation about climate change. We did ‘’ Environmental sociology’’ workshop. We also did an ECO2 manual and “ECO cartoon” .

 

Third LTT with students

(Izmir, Turkey)

Third LTT with students was in Izmir and was the last one for the students. We visited a conference about the importance of water. Also we discussed in groups about global problems of humanity. As always we and other students presented a presentation.

Learning Teaching Training Activities

(Braila, Romania)

During this meeting all teachers was talking about using of natural materials in school activities, water and air pollution, making gastronomical workshop and also a training course LET’S BE GREEN.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Closing learning Teaching Training Activities

(Izmir, Turkey)

Closing the project was for teachers to draw conclusions about the students’ work throughout this project. Each teacher presented what was done from each country during this year.
